Clinical Supervision for Psychotherapists & Counsellors

If you're looking for integrative supervision that helps you think clearly about your client work, grow your confidence, and build a practice that feels sustainable, I might be the right fit for you.

I offer warm, supportive, grounded and honest supervision for therapists and trainees who want something clinically useful, genuinely human, and rooted in real-world clinical and business experience.

I see supervision as part of the core team that supports you - to practise well, stay grounded, and sustain your practice over time.

My hope is that you will leave feeling confident, hopeful and with renewed energy for the work - and yourself.

If you’re looking to build that kind of support into your work, book a supervision enquiry call.

Clinical Supervision that Supports Clear Thinking

Supervision is a space to step back and think carefully about your work - both the therapy itself and the way you’re practising overall.

I draw on the seven-eyed model of supervision. I like it because it looks at the work from a number of angles:

  • Your client and client work: what’s going on for the client, what might be happening in the therapeutic relationship.

  • You: how the work is affecting you, and how you are working with that.

  • Our relationship: what the client work brings up, any parallel processes we might be repeating, anything relevant coming up for me. We might look at the client with ‘fresh eyes’ together.

  • The wider context - for example, how cultural, societal and organisational pressures can impact you and your clients, and can show up in the therapy room.

  • The practical side of your practice: boundaries, contracting, paperwork, caseload, policies.

  • The business side of your practice: pricing, burnout prevention, marketing, niching, and building a practice that fits with you and your life.

  • Legal and ethical considerations, including safeguarding, managing risk and your own safety and wellbeing. I have experience in private practice and of referring clients in and out of private and NHS services, and can support you with this where needed.

Alongside supervision experience, I bring experience from building and running a successful private practice, as well as work in the Priory, hospice and college settings. I understand both the clinical depth of the work and the practical realities of creating a practice that works financially, emotionally and day to day. I also bring experience referring clients in and out of private and NHS services.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you.

Logistics

  • I offer supervision online, by phone and in-person from my Godalming practice on Monday and Tuesday daytimes.

  • I offer two options for supervision: 90 minutes monthly or 60 minutes every two weeks. (Experience has taught me that 60 minutes a month is too rushed to properly cover the work).

  • Fees are £110 for 90 minutes and £75 per 60 minutes.

If this feels like the kind of supervision you’re looking for, book an introductory call.
