Holding it together on the outside.
Not coping on the inside.

If this sounds like you, you're in the right place.

Maybe you've always been pretty capable — self-sufficient, coping, holding it together. But underneath that, something doesn't add up. Something is getting in the way of the life you want.

You've tried to figure it out yourself. Now feels like the right time for support.

Why You Might Be Here

People often work with me when one or more of these feel true:

  • You’ve always been pretty self-sufficient and competent. Lately, though, you’ve been struggling.

  • You’ve been holding it together, but you’re worried you might finally be about to fall apart.

  • Everyday things unexpectedly trigger strong reactions - something on the TV, a throwaway comment, a minor moment that suddenly takes over.

  • You’re having flare-ups in relationships, making home or work harder.

  • You’re struggling to set boundaries, to say what you want and need.

  • You feel on edge a lot of the time, scanning for problems and trying to control things you know you can’t.

  • You dread specific situations, and those moments feel like they take over.

  • You feel a little stuck.

Whatever challenge you are facing, you’re ready to overcome it.

I’m Jo, an integrative therapist and EMDR practitioner. I’ve lived all over the world, but now live in Surrey, where I like doing jigsaws, hanging out with my Labrador, and hiking.

I love seeing clients feel more resolved, enjoy more rewarding relationships, and make the changes they need.

One of the biggest factors in successful therapy is finding the right fit. I hope this website gives you a sense of who I am.
